The Walsall FC Supporters’ Trust is proud to have been recognised as a shortlisted nominee in the Special Recognition Award category at the Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust Charity Awards 2026.
The award recognises organisations and individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the local community through their charitable work. Receiving this recognition is a testament to the dedication of our volunteers, members and supporters, who continue to give their time, energy and generosity to make a positive difference across Walsall.
Over the years, our members have helped the Trust support a range of community initiatives, including fundraising, charitable donations, remembrance activities, toy appeals, food bank collections and projects that strengthen the relationship between Walsall FC and the wider community. While football remains at the heart of what we do, our commitment extends beyond the Banks’s Stadium, reflecting the values of community, inclusion and service.
Although we did not take home the award, being shortlisted by Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is an honour in itself and recognises the impact that supporters can have when they come together for the benefit of others.
We would like to thank Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust, the Well Wishers Charity, and everyone involved in the awards for recognising our work. Most importantly, we would like to thank every Trust member, volunteer, partner organisation and supporter who has contributed to our charitable efforts over the years. This recognition belongs to all of you.
As we look ahead, the Trust remains committed to supporting both our football club and our local community, continuing to demonstrate that football supporters can be a genuine force for good.
