The David Bowler Community Grant Scheme is an initiative aimed at supporting community projects that enhance fan engagement or contribute positively to the local area. Named in honour of David Bowler, who left a generous financial gift to the Trust, the grant intends to honour his memory by underscoring our commitment to supporting impactful initiatives that resonate with our core values of community and support.

Ongoing Applications Welcome!

We are now accepting proposals on a rolling basis throughout the year. Each application will be reviewed individually as it is received, with decisions communicated shortly thereafter.

We encourage all eligible members to take advantage of this opportunity to make a positive and lasting impact in the Walsall community.

For further details on the application process, eligibility criteria, and funding conditions, please refer to our David Bowler Community Grant Criteria* and visit our website at Walsall Football Supporters’ Trust.

The Trust is now accepting proposals for projects that align with the charitable objectives of the Trust, including but not limited to enhancing the fan experience, promoting community outreach, and supporting local causes. Interested applicants must be current members of the Walsall Football Supporters’ Trust and align their projects with the specified criteria outlined in our criteria document.

Funding Details

Projects can be funded up to £500, with the possibility of phased disbursements based on milestone achievements. All funded projects must prominently acknowledge the support of the Walsall Football Supporters’ Trust in all related materials.

We look forward to your proposals and are excited to see the positive changes your projects will bring to our community!

* The Walsall Football Supporters’ Trust reserves the right to amend, withhold, or withdraw funding at any stage without prior notice. The Trust also retains the authority to fund no projects if none of the applications meet the required standards as set out in the funding criteria or for any other reason. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding, and all decisions made by the Trust are final. Applicants should not assume any commitment on the part of the Trust until formal written approval of the grant has been provided.
