The Walsall Supporters Trust is honoured to unveil our newly installed memorial bricks, paying tribute to some of our most loyal and cherished supporters. As part of our commitment to celebrating the lasting legacy of Walsall FC fans, we have purchased three Memorial Bricks in 2024. These bricks serve as a physical reminder of the dedication and community spirit that characterises our fan base.

Among the commemorated are Stan Blandford (1950-2024) and David Bowler (1943-2023), whose devotion to the club was unwavering. Stan Blandford, remembered for his steadfast support and presence at matches, embodied the passion of the Walsall community, always championing the Saddlers with pride. David Bowler, a lifelong fan, leaves behind a legacy of commitment and love for the club that inspired many others to follow in his footsteps.

The third brick is dedicated to the memory of Bob Sadler, a recently departed supporter who was deeply embedded in the Walsall FC family. His legacy, like those of Stan and David, will live on in the memories of fans and through this enduring tribute.

  1. Lovely news. I have thought about Stan a lot this season as at long last we have a team of which we can be proud. I also knew Bob Sadler and I miss them both on match days. I didn’t know the other guy but I fervently hope that they would all enjoy this new team we have built.
