At the Trust, we’ve been working hard to ensure your ideas and concerns are heard by Walsall FC, and we’re excited to share some of the progress we’ve made on key issues raised by our members. From improving matchday facilities to making the stadium more accessible for everyone, here’s what we’ve been up to over August:

Enhancing Your Experience at The Locker

We’ve been pushing for some additions to The Locker, the hub of matchday socialising. How about a nice cup of tea? We’ve asked the club to consider adding these options for fans to enjoy. We’ve also suggested creating a designated smoking area outside The Locker, offering a more comfortable and convenient space for those who need it, especially those fans with respiratory conditions.

Caring for All Supporters

Looking after our fans is at the heart of what we do, and we’re making sure female hygiene products are restocked in the stadium toilets—an issue we’ve followed up on with the club.

For our elderly supporters, we’ve been advocating for additional assistance to help them reach their seats. We want to make sure that everyone, no matter their age, can enjoy the game with ease and comfort.

A Place to Reflect: Prayer Room in Progress

After listening to feedback, we’re working with the club to establish a dedicated Prayer Room. Our Head of the Trust will be meeting with Club Chaplain Joe Clarke to plan a suitable space where fans can reflect and pray in peace on matchdays.

Accessibility at Bescot Stadium Station: Progress Update

We know that disabled access is a key issue at Bescot Stadium Station, and we’re thrilled to announce that Valerie Vaz MP will be attending a Trust meeting soon to update us on the latest developments. This is a crucial step toward making the matchday experience better for our disabled fans.

Making Membership More Affordable

We’ve introduced a new tier of membership for under 18s. It’s fantastic value at only £2 for the year, with the purchase of a full adult membership. Young fans are out future and we want to ensure we have voice that can advocate for all young people.

We’re here to listen, act, and make a difference. Our members are driving real change at WFC, and we’ll keep working with the club to improve your experience as a supporter. Join the Trust, share your reasonable concerns, and we’ll keep you updated on all the exciting developments happening behind the scenes!
