Trust looking forward to working with Mayor Parker

The Trust are excited to welcome Richard Parker as our incoming Mayor, and look forward to continuing our fruitful collaboration with MP Valerie Vaz to bring accessibility – for all fans and users – to Bescot Station.

We hope the new administration can go one further than Mayor Andy Street, who advised that “West Midlands Rail Executive (WMRE) has recently secured funding to undertake feasibility work to understand the cost of providing step-free access at all the remaining inaccessible stations within the transport for West Midlands area”.

We look forward to investment arriving in the form of concrete action as well as in feasibility exercises.

We are confident that with the support of Mayor Parker and MP Vaz, we can bring these plans to life, ensuring that our stadium is accessible to everyone, embodying the spirit of inclusion that defines both our club and community.
