We at the Walsall Supporters Trust are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Trevor Reece, a lifelong supporter of our beloved club. Trevor’s journey with Walsall FC began in the 1950s when he first visited Fellows Park as a young boy. Over the decades, he remained a dedicated fan, holding a season ticket for the last 37 years and loyally supporting the Saddlers through thick and thin, travelling across the country to cheer them on.
Trevor passed away on Tuesday, 19th March, at the age of 80. He leaves behind a legacy of passion and dedication to the club that will be greatly missed not only by his family but also by his many friends both at Bescot and within our Trust.
Reflecting on his invaluable contributions, inviting Trevor to join the Board of the Walsall Supporters Trust was one of the best decisions we made. His expertise in pension funds greatly benefited our work, and his wisdom and companionship have been a cornerstone of our endeavours. Trevor wasn’t just a colleague but a dear friend to many of us.
We will forever cherish his memory and the immense impact he had on our community. Rest in peace, Trevor.
