Who We Are

The Walsall Football Supporters’ Trust is an independent, volunteer-led organisation, run entirely by volunteers. Founded by Saddlers supporters for Saddlers supporters, our mission is to represent the voice of fans, safeguard our heritage, and ensure that Walsall FC remains rooted in its community.

We operate on a not-for-profit basis. Every penny raised goes straight back into projects that benefit our members and, in turn, the wider Saddlers family.

What We Do

• Represent Supporters – By holding shares in Walsall FC, we make sure fans have a voice in the running of their club.
• Protect Heritage – From flags and displays to memorabilia and campaigns, we celebrate and protect the proud story of Walsall FC.
• Support Community – We back initiatives that keep the football club connected to its town and its people.
• Amplify the Fan Voice – We consult with supporters, raise concerns, and campaign on issues that matter most to fans.

All of this is delivered by a small group of volunteers, giving their time and energy to strengthen the Saddlers community.

Why Membership Comes First

As much as we’d love to do everything for everyone, all the time, the Trust can only do as much as our members make possible. We don’t receive funding from the club, and we don’t have large commercial sponsorship or income streams. Our only source of income is membership fees.

That’s why membership has to come first. We take great care in setting the cost, and we believe £5 per year is fair, accessible, and excellent value for the work we do. For less than the price of a matchday pint, you help sustain a voice for fans, projects for the community, and initiatives that benefit supporters across the board.

When members support us, the whole Saddlers family feels the benefit. The work we do doesn’t just stop at members — it ripples outward. But without members, there would be no Trust at all.

Our Mission

The Walsall Football Supporters’ Trust mission is to advocate for and represent the interests of Walsall FC’s supporters and minority shareholders. We commit to a relationship with Walsall FC defined by constructive scrutiny, aimed at promoting the club’s prosperity – on and off the field – and safeguarding the interests of all stakeholders. Our mission is rooted in the principles of critical friendship, ensuring that our engagement is always in the best interests of the club and its wider community.

Our Vision is to see Walsall Supporters Trust achieve a seat on Walsall FC’s executive board as an advocate for fan-centric governance and responsible stewardship. The Trust’s vision is to be the benchmark for fan involvement in club governance and decision-making.

We are committed to inclusivity and accessibility, represented by our dedicated EDI Officer who aims to ensure all fans can enjoy match days without barriers and we work to strengthen the bonds between Walsall FC, its supporters, and the wider local community, fostering a spirit of unity and shared passion for football.
